Troy Query 
Senior Pastor
 
Troy and Michele (Nicki) Query have been married for 27 years and have two daughters, Cecelia and Tabatha. Troy grew up in Mt. Pleasant and Michele in Awendaw, where they currently reside. Troy is bi-vocational and in addition to being the Pastor at HABC, works for the South Carolina State Port Authority as a heavy lift operator. Michele is the administrative assistance at Riverpointe Christian Academy in West Ashley. For the past 20 years Troy has served in several churches as a youth pastor, associate pastor and as senior pastor. He has a degree in Sacred Literature from Covington Theological Seminary which he completed in 2007. Troy has served as interim pastor at HABC before being called as pastor in November of 2014 and the focus of his ministry is to lead believers in making Disciples of Christ.
Bryan Ayer
Community Pastor
 
Bryan and his wife Miranda have been married 7 years and  have a 3 year old daughter named Adeline. They live in the Park Circle community. Bryan is bi-vocational and in addition to being the Community Pastor of HABC, works for Charleston Southern University in the Registrar’s Office. Miranda is an RN and works for Charleston Endoscopy Center. Bryan has served in ministry for the past 10 years as a worship leader, youth leader, and associate pastor. He has a Bachelor’s Degree from CSU and is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity through Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Both Bryan and Miranda have a desire to see the community of Park Circle come to know Jesus Christ.
Debbie Wolf
Music Minister
 
Debbie has lived in the North Charleston area the majority of her life. She was married to Earl for over 35 years until he went home to be with his Lord. She has 2 sons, Stephen and James, who is married to Natalie. Debbie received a B.S.degree in elementary education from Baptist College (now Charleston Southern University). After working as an elementary teacher for over 9 years, she became a stay-at-home mom for several years . She has been serving as the Billing Supervisor at Creekside Women’s Care for over 15 years. She has been involved in service at Holmes Avenue for over 40 years, singing in church choirs since the age of 9, as well as serving as a teacher to children, youth, and adults. She has been the music director since May 2009 with the focus of music reflecting on developing and strengthening a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Trisha Taylor
Children’s Minister
 
Trisha has lived in North Charleston for the majority of her life and absolutely loves the Park Circle area. She is bi-vocational and in addition to being the Children’s Minister at HABC, works for the North Charleston Fire Department on the Logistics team. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Winthrop University in Sociology concentrated on Criminology. She has worked with children numerous times over the years, and through that, God has grown a desire in her heart to reach children for Him. Her hope is for children to fall in love with Jesus and see themselves through His eyes, loved and valued.
Harv & Janine McDonald
Student Ministers
 
Harv and Janine McDonald have been married for 26 yrs and have 3 children of their own. They have been working in several different forms of youth and student ministries for over 25 years. Using music, dramatic, creative arts, excitement, and lots of fun, they seek to reach youth to draw them to the Love of God through Jesus Christ. 
Some of their past experiences include a kids “nightclub” called God’s World, a music and drama group known as Kingdom Seekers, a youth production company called The Travelers of His Road and most recently The Greenhouse Youth Center in Hollywood, SC.
Harv and Janine are excited to help youth get to know God while they learn new and exciting skills that they will use for years to come!
